How do I get rid of sewer flies?
Question:Little black flies that are around the sewer in the basement and a in the upstairs bathroom. They just seem be mulitplying.
Answers:
There should be a trap in the floor drains, they possibly dried out allowing an escape route for the flies
Try dumping some water down each drain every month or so.
Try and put saucers of vineger out if that dosent work squirt a good air freshner and also put scented products out too or you could try getting a fan turning it on and squirting air freshner when the fan is on this way it will waft the freshner round the room.
Has your trap in the basement dried up, pour some water in the drain to keep the sewer and and outside air seperate
