What is the usual cost to recharge a central air conditioning unit for your house?

Question:

Answers:
this depends on what size unit you have and what you want done..if all you want done is to have your unit recharged and not fix the leak(which is legal)...The cost should only be the freon per pound about 10.00 per pound..plus the service charge and one hours labor.most times this can be done for less than 200 dollars...

I think the last I paid was under $ 400
