3 year old electric Kenmore Dryer will not DRY?

Question:This dryer is not very old. Took the heating element out and it doesn't seem to be that. Doesn't look used hardly at all. It was working fine a week ago, did a load of laundry and now it won't dry. It runs, but won't dry. Checked the breakers, everything is find in that regard. Whats wrong with this thing?

Answers:
Part number 279769 thermostat kit is the most likely problem if the heating element is fine. Other problems that are not likely to occur are bad motor (there is an internal switch in the motor that send power to the heating element after the motor starts running) or the timer. Also be advised that you might have lost one of the power legs. On electric dryers the motor turns on 120 and heats with 240 to make sure that you really do have both power legs there.

either buy a new dryers or hang the outside the natural way saves$$$$$$$$
Check your dryer vent. It may be clogged.
Call a salesperson at Sears and have someone explain it to you. Ask for the washers/dryers section, and a knowlegeable person should answer your questions.
Inside behind the drum are spring like coils that heat the drum usually located on the back panel. These are much like a space heater they glow red when there on, check to make sure that they are glowing when you turn the dryer on. Is it getting hot inside the drum? if not this is a good sign that one is probablly broken. The best way to do this is empty the dryer leave the door open, push in the safty button and hold it start the dryer on high heat. Be carefull not to put your hands inside the drum, look towards the back of the drum and see if you can see any glowing through the holes in the rear of the drum. If not it,s probablly the coils, one is broken. Somtimes you can carefully twist these back together and get it to work. You might have broken one putting it back together, even jarring it somtimes does this, or moving it around.
heating element or thermostat on outside of heating element box
All the previous answers add up to zero. You dont have to guess. Go directly to http://appliancequickfix.com/ and find a very simple overview of how to check your dryer,
Just swapping parts is expensive. Witout use of a volt/ohm meter and knowledge of it's use, your just spinning your drum. You must be aware that one part failure can be the result of a problem with another. Example: something else caused the thermal fuse or high limit thermostat to blow.
