Dripping on window sill?

Question:thankyou for your answers but its not plastic guttering we have had its steel and there is no visable clips. but it isnt there now that its leaking from its further along where there isnt any join and my husband thought the piece of wood that he put up over the window and he siliconed it as well , thought it would do the trick he has even been up and resealed it but its still dripping, only in the one place.

Answers:
water tends to travel long distances, before it comes out. If a leak is up stairs or roof top some ware, and temps get hot, water will tracel even further.

If you have cavity walls it may be travelling down from a missing tile/slate or be blown in a hole in your facia.
I dont know your original question, but for leaking windows remember the following.

If the window installation was not professional or done improperly then the seal in the space between the window frame and the window itself could be compromised.

Certain styles of flashing tend to collect water rather than shed them away. check the flashing around the window when it rains to see if it is pooling up on top of the flashing. if it is then gently bend the flashing down and reseal with dymonic caulking.

Like one of the other contributors mentioned, water is insidious and will force its way from the most unlikely places. So it is also possible that the leak showing up on your sill is coming from a leaky roof or damaged wall or another location.
i think you should start with a new question this one is a bit confused!! sorry
