We have an acrylic hot tub with cracks below the water line. Is there a caulking that would hold up underwater

Question:

Answers:
One way I have fixed the cracking problem on showers and tubs is,if possible get under the floor and drill up into the space under the tub/shower and applie minimum expanding foam. use common sense and dont unload a whole can just enough to create a pad under the tub to stop flexing. most when installed have sand or a foam pad installed to alleviate the problem. If the cracks is severe use an epoxy glue that has 2 parts to mix to create a super hard surface.I have found that the glue used in bow building is the best but expensive!and do the prep such as cleaning and etching or scratch surface to create "grab" for the epoxy.. I then use a hair dryer to speed the setting up and drying time of the epoxy.

yes there is...Water based caulking for shower/tub
actually barb,,head to lowes' or homedepot and they have repair kits for tibs...don't use chaulking will no hold up, it won't adhere to the finish of the tub with use.
Silicone caulk will stop it from leaking for a while. The problem lies in why the cracks are happening. It sounds like it is not supported properly and is "shifting/flexing" which causes the cracks.
There are patch hits for fiberglass sailboats that would work. Sold at marine supply houses.
