Why is my dishwasher?
Question:not draining after a wash?
i have checked for blockages, but nothing there!
any ideas please! no time wasters thanks!!

check the vavle on the drain you have a valve that holds water in then on rinse it opens to drain. It may be stuck closed.
If it is a newly installed one..I have seen people forget to cut the top off the nub where it hooks to the main drainline. Refered to as roughed in dishwasher. Essentially, it is blocked but people don't realize they have to cut it..simple mistake. If it is a used dishwasher..it is difficult to say. Could be pump, blocked intake screen etc. You could try disconnecting at drain line and back blowing to see if there is passage. Becareful not to use to high of a PSI. Good luck and keep us informed.
