Plant, we are concerned?

Question:We bought a 1 foot tall rubber plant 4 years ago and stuck it in the window in the hall.

We water it every year if it needs it or not but 3 months ago changed it's mud for something from B&Q.

Now it has gone mad and grown 3 feet in 3 months and has shoots every where!!

Is it ok?

Should we get rid of it?

Answers:
*L* Poor plant .. they are supposed to grow you know and now it has fresh 'mud' and water it is finally happy!! Be nice to it.

You could always auction it on ebay - buyer collects.
Chop it down to about 6 inches below where you would like it to grow. It will fill out and be much prettier when it finishes the growth spurt.
there is a guy called Jack.. I have his email addy!
We had a rubber plant on the kids show " why don't you switch off your TV" etc etc.. it outgrew the set, the office, my greenhouse. Tried to cut it down...it sulked and died...sorry. I hope you have better luck. Keep it under the stairwell so it can go up 2 storeys.
no dont get rid of it its perfectly normal behaviour for a triffid
defiantly not wait for the gaint and the goose laying golden eggs
Hows the car tyres doin?
