Ideal pressure setting on worcester boiler?

Question:on boiler there is a dial display which i presume is the pressure ,,,,it is currently on 1,,,,,but seems there is room to turn up a little as dial is green then to red,,,i imagine i dont want it in the red

Answers:
1 to 1.5 bar cold.

1 bar is fine when system's cold and could rise slightly when the system is hot.--------also don't muck about with something you don't understand---! ;o)
Dependent on the boiler to a degree, but there is usually a red pointer (fixed) and a black pointer which moves with added pressure, 1.5 bar is good and will rise to 2 bar when heating or pre heat (if it has one). under 1 is not good, over 2.5 is not good, and daily re-pressurising means you have aleak on the system.
The pressure you have now is just right. As the water heats up it expands, so you have to allow for this by keeping the pressure around 1 bar or 1 and a half.
Hi The pressure should be between 1 and 1 1\2 if it pressure drops too low, the boiler will shut down, if you take the pressure too high, you will blow either the radiators or a pipe connection, and flood your place. check fortnightly okay
1.4 bar
