If I replace just the furnace and not the condenser unit, can I still save money on my utilities?

Question:

Answers:
You will only save money when you are heating and if the new unit is higher efficiency than what you are currently using. It usually does not make sense to replace the furnace alone if you live in a climate like California where I am, but if you live in a climate where it does not get very hot and you use your heater most of the year I could see doing it.

Sure if you put in a energy saving unit say 92 to 95% eff.
Make sure it will handle you present condenser.
