In ground Pool (Two Part Question)?
Question:How much would it cost for an in-ground pool? I don't need anything fancy, just a plain old rectangular pool for exercise and R&R.
How much additional cost would be involved with building a glass enclosure around it?
Answers:
You could probably get a decent size pool put in for $15-20 thousand. Look in the phone book for fiberglass pools and go to where they sell them. They should have several on display. And they can tell you who in your area can install it if they don't do it themselves.
You might want to re-think a glass enclosure. Remember your pool is going to have chlorine and other chemicals that you will want to vent. And during the summer, it sure would get hot in there. I live in Florida and most pools here have a screened in "cage" around the pool. Keeps leaves and dirt out of the pool and mosquitoes off of you.
For an 80 perimeter pool plaster no pop up cleaning or water feature about $15000. Your enclosure I have no Idea.
