Air Compressor Thingy?
Question:So obviously i'm a girl and dunno too much about air compressors and junk like that...
I wanna go swimming really bad but I need to blow up my raft to float around on :]
I've tried blowing it up (oh boy am I outta breath) but...that's going to take foreverrrr.
I wanted to used my dad's air compressor but the little needle thing isn't hooked up on it and that's the only thing I need for it, so i've spent almost an hour trying to figure out how to hook the damn thing on! lol
Could someone please
and I mean please explain to me in stupid terms (notice I've used the word "thing" a lot lol cuz i hardly know what i'm talking about) how to get this needle on to the hose thingy

If your dad has a proper industrial compressor, then you are likely to make your raft go BANG! ;-)
You can buy electric pumps (glorified fans) for very little money.
There is a very good reason that inflatables don't have the same connectors as tyres you know ;-)
uh.. you should ask your dad if it's his... I know my air compressor has multiple different size tips you can use.
The previous poster has a good point though, ask at walmart where they store "air mattresses" they keep little $10 inflater things there
Sounds like you need some type of coupling or adapter. Write down the model of the air compressor and then run to home depot with the needle. Ask someone there if they can find the correct adapter for you.

If it has the little clear knob on it that you kind of bite on and blow it up the needle wont help you. You need another nozzle , the one i use shoots air out to clean things off. You would just squeeze the nozzle with your hand and shoot air into it without exploding the raft heh.
