I just replaced my Swamp Cooler 3/4 hp motor...Put pulley back on and started...Ran for two day and stopped.?
Question:Found pulley had come off...I had Stripped treads on the new motor...Put the pulley back on and tightened the two allen nuts as tight as I could...This time in the SLOT...Remember there is no treads on the shaft...It has been running for 3 days....How can I fix this corectly?

Pully Shaft should be flat on a side...tighten one screw unto this flat part...other screw wherever it lands..It will work
the pulley and motor should be square, and the shaft has a flat spot that's where the screw goes.
