Is the Polasis pool cleaning system connected to electricity?

Question:My polaris is broken. it was dissconnected in a storm. i need to know if it is connected to electricity, that way i can fix it.

Answers:
It depends on which model you have. While none of them use electricity in the head units (the part that goes into the pool), some use a separate electric booster pump. (The 380, 280, and 180 models.) Both the Polaris booster pump and your regular pool pump have to be running for them to work.

What exactly is it (or isn't it) doing? Feel free to post the question through the group (see below).

No, it workks off the suction of your pump.
