My pool water is cloudy?


Question:i have tested the water myself and it is clean I've taken it to get tested and the pool guy told me the water is very clean but i dont know what to add to it to make it uncloudy i was told to give the pool a shock treatment but it did not work what should i add to my pool??or what should i do?

my pool had the same problem.
It went back to normal with clarifier.
try the kem-pool clarifier.

I agree with the clarifier. I added it to my cloudy pool and
wa - lah, clean and clear.
It could be chlorine lock.
This occurs when there is too much chemical in the system.
It is quite common because folks naturally assume a little extra treatment will be good for the water.
Not so..too much is as bad as too little.
You may have to replace all or most of the pool water to get rid of it.
Consult a pool specialist for proper advice....a lot of these pool guys are just 'jobbers' and know nothing about pool chemistry. Go to a major pool supply company and get a 'specialist' to advise you. They won't charge for verbal assistance.
