Have a thumb through the yellow pages and get a few quotes from any of the CORGI Registered gas appliance fitters listed. Don't ask British Gas to do it. They will charge at least £5,000.
I had one installed by an Independent gas engineer and it cost me £1,400.
You can get agood boiler and fitting for around £500 quid
Just make sure they are corgi registered. If you get Polish or any one else not registered, and something was to happen, they will not be the only ones to goto court, you would also as you hired them
if its a straight swap £300-500 dont get polish immagrants to do it you need CORGI registered plumber cause if you have a problem your insurance wont cover it ..
