How do I change a hot light bulb when it burns out?

Question:I mean I tried using a hammer and a patatoe but I just can't figure it out.

Answers:
make sure the potato is a RED potato, and make sure you are holding the potato in your LEFT hand, because if the potato is in your right hand it will get dirty.

wait til it cools then take it out and replace it...
do u mean to say that it is broken and the glass is shattered? well if that's the case...try cutting a carrot in half and then stick it into the broken socket part...it should jam and u should be able to twist it off. or if u meant it that it was just hot...then get a paper towel and use it as a glove. turn off the power too.
Let it cool.
carefully!! Try wearing gloves
I used a pair of needle nose pliers in a situation like this, nothing would work so I had to bend it up to get it out.

Extreme Caution!
Make Very Sure there is NO POWER when you do this.
get six lawyers to stand around the bulb and let them talk circles around it. Make sure they talk in turn couterclockwise
one at a time until the bulb falls out.
spray it with cold water to cool it off then replace it.
oven gloves
cut a 600ml coke bottle in half and put the drinking piece on your broom handle, use the cut half to push up the light globe and should come out, also useful for replacing lightglobes if u cant reach
