Pool help please!?
Question:Hello,
I bought a four foot pool from Wal-Mart. It has the big metal poles and a real nice liner. Anyways, I cannot get it to turn crystal clear. It is like a cloudy blue green color. I can see the bottom but it is like hazy? Any suggestions?

check that pump filter.
Pool shock treatment and run your filter ALL NIGHT & DAY for a week.
Put the whole back of shock in there.
Be sure to check the PH before swimming.
Check the difference between you total chlorine and your free chlorine. They should be the same number between (0 -3). If they are not the same then you do not have nay bacteria killing chlorine in the pool.
If the free chlorine is higher then you need to add a non chlorine shock. let it work into the water and wait 1-2 days and then test it again. As the chlorine levels become the same the water should clear.
You could also have algae. If so then add an algacide.
