Question:

Answers:
#10 wire and use some form of disconnect at the motor also to use as a form of disconnect if you need to work on or replace the motor without going all the way to the breaker panel .

electrician and pool man.

Use 10 gage wire so you don't get voltage drop over the long distance.
If standard house wiring is 12 gauge, I would go to the next bigger one, probably 10 gauge, as someone else mentioned.
A min of a #12 wire as it is rated at 20 amps
12 gauge wire is fine. 100 foot isnt long enough to worry about voltage drop. The voltage drop is minumum and not worth the extra expess of 10 gauge. You dont need an extra disconnect either. Your pumps will be controlled by the timer and it will have the breaker in it for the pump. Why spend extra money when you can kill the power at the source?
#12 wire Gage,electrical code.
Hire an electrician, I had the same problem and did it myself, caused damage to the pump, and did damage to my electrical box. Big money and insurance would not cover it.
