Are you supposed to empty your hot tub if a hurricane is coming?

Question:

Answers:
no. the water will keep it wieghted down. you should drain an in ground pool 15 to 20 % to allow for heavy rain.

no you shouldn't empty it. If need be you cause use the water in the tub for something as long as it clean.
Also witht he water weight it can keep it from fliping ( from winds) if it's not sunk in ground or in a deck.
not meaning to sound sarcastic or mean---what would be the point of trying to empty that?
I agree with Jack.
If it were empty the wind could easily toss it around. However if it were full of water at around 8 pounds per gallon, it would make it much harder for the wind to deliver your tub to the neighbor across town!
