Are intex pools returnable?

Question:We bought an intex 18' by 36" pool from Meijer and we've tried to set it up in about 4 different places and each time we put the water in, the sides don't rise properly. I still have the box and all the original packing... we've only had it for 3 days. I'm not sure how to take the ladder apart... but anyway, do you think I'm able to return it??

Answers:
I did this last year at Toys R Us...you could say it has a hole or what not...but that depends on if you are comfortable with that.
Or if you want to keep it...we ended up putting sand under 1/2 of ours to make it level. We have done this for years and works fine. But that's really if you want to mess with all that. I think on our 15X42 pool we used 10 bags of sand (like play sand from lowes)

Its all going to depend on Meijer's return policy.

I would take it all in the store to return and act like you don't expect anything but them to accept it for return. If you call or go in without it, its so much easier for them to say no.

Good luck!
It's not likely that they will allow you to return it unless there is a defect in the pool, or one of the components. However these type pools (inflatable ring, bladder style), MUST be on a completely level surface AND you should be certain that the bottom is layed out smooth and wrinkle free. Another tip is to add only an inch or two of water, then readjust the bottom so that the center of the floor section is in the exact center. Then continue filling it. You MAY have some luck returning it, I suppose it depends on the person at customer service. Good luck!
You should be able to return it or at least exchange it. It seems strange that your having a problem. Make sure the ground is very level with 6" of sand and the outer ring is inflated before filling.
That depends on where you purchased it from. You can visit the mfg website and contact info is there. I don't see the problem of returning it if you've only had it three days and there are no holes in the pool.
