Has anyone tried to install solar panels to get electricity?

I have... I had two 2x3 foot panels from my sailboat, and I moved them to my brothers ranch were we used them (with an inverter and battery-group) to power his barn and spare well.

You can also string a couple of bear wires on 3 or 4 tall towers the output voltage will be around 300VDC run it tho a inverter and free power 24/7 I plan on moveing to the sticks and I am going to do just that. !
