What kind of water supply do I need to hook up a Washer?
Question:I would like to install a washer in my condo but I'm not sure what kind of water supply I can use to hook it up. I know I can use a sink, but can I use a water heater or plumbing in a bathroom? Thanks for your response!

This is expensive.
Go to a mobile home supply store. They sell washer/dryer units that you can attach to you kitchen sink that use 120V power from a standard plug.
They clean and dry clothes well but not only cost a lot initially but use tons of electricity.
No offence, but what kind of cheesy condo doesn't have washers and dryers and why can't you get the condo association to install the plumbing?
You can get away with using a sink. Get an adapter that's used for a portable dishwasher. The problem is, laundry equipment will call for cold or hot water at differant times.
you aren't going to get the best results.
you can connect it up to any water supply in your condo you like just make sure the drain pipe doesn't block up or you will flood you condo
It depends on what you have close to where you want the washer. A washing machine will use the same spigot thread as an outdoor faucet, as both use garden hose style connectors. If you want to be able to choose water temperature, you will need one spigot for cold and one for hot.
Your biggest issue will really be the drain hose. The machine will have a drain hose that you will need to put into a drain somewhere, be it a sink or its own dedicated drain pipe. If this hose is too long, the machine will not drain properly, which will keep your clothes wet after the spin cycle, will cause premature failure of the machine, and will result in a high risk for hose separation and eventual water leak.
That all being said, there are adapters that will allow you to connect a washing machine to a sink in place of the sink aerator (The place the water comes out. Trust me, it will unscrew.) These are usually intended to be used for small portable washing machines, but you can use one on the sink and run a garden hose to your washing machine. Other plumbing in your house is not considered when it comes to connecting a washing machine, so there are no adapters. In reality, you could probably put several adapters together to make it fit, but then you are running a much higher risk of leaks and flooding.
If you want a normal, full-size washer, my suggestion would be to get a plumber to install two spigots and a drain pipe in a location where you want to put the washer. It gives you the flexibility to install the washer where you want it and you don't have to worry about running a garden hose through your home. Alternatively, a plumber could install a spigot off of plumbing you already have in your bathroom, such as off of the water piping for your sink.
If you can live with a smaller washer, then there are several portable models on the market. They can be rolled anywhere, so you can put it in your bathroom or kitchen when you want to use laundry and put it in a closet when you don't need it. Plus, they will already come with adapters to connect them to a sink. Best brand for the price is Haier, but most applicance companies make them these days. Price is normal for a washing machine, running from about $200 to $500+. It makes a convenient option if you are only washing clothes for yourself or up to one other person.
