i had that repair done they guaranteed it would last 3 months, my machine cost £80 to fix it didn't last much longer than the 3 months, its much better to buy a new one these days

im not sure

best to make sure you know what youre doing though

dont go breaking your machine with a bungled attempt at fixing it
it cost grandpop seventfour pounds, and call out charge was nintyseven pounds so total cost him onehundred and seventyone pounds..
Contact a Sears part and service store, they can give you the price on any washer ever made. Are you referring to the bearing on the front of the washer or the rear where it attaches to a wheel as prices differ? Usually they are not bearing, but bushings. Bushing don't wear as fast a bearing.
Is this some help to you?
that depends on the make and model, but if its under 6yrs, then its probably not worth repairing, because most newer machines require a complete unit to make the repair practical, for an average guide you would be looking at around £150-£200 inclusive of labour, and for that sort of price you can buy a new appliance.
It depends on the make of the washing machine. Some drum bearings cannot be replaced, and some need a special puller to change them.
The bearings are in the gearcase not in the basket base. Complete gearcase must be replaced. You could buy a new washer for the price of repair. $300 and up depending on the brand.
