How do I test/repair an open ground on a electric range/oven?

Question:I had a home inspection done on my house, we are selling it, and the inspector says in his notes that the electric oven/range has an open ground only on the broiler mode. So he says he tested the appliance when the oven was on bake and the ground was fine, then tested it when the stove top was on and the ground was fine, but when he tested the broiler it showed an open ground. Any help is appreciated.

Answers:
the ground is the same on all modes, your inspector is some what lacking in his abilities
if you had a bed element you would have either no heat or a direct short to ground

The broiler element does not use a ground. Dont guess, just
