Removing termites from outdoor wooden table?

Question:I want to keep the table, its really pretty. However this spring I noticed that some little bee-like bugs are crawling in and out of holes in my table, so I was going to seal the bees in there with polyurethene, but when I went to clean the table, I saw... termites... eww... If I seal them in there - will they just eat their way out? Can I kill them and save my table?
Btw it is about 1.5ft x 5ft, 2.5in thick - the legs are cast iron and simply screwed into the wood.
Please help me save the table!!

Use some of that lawn and garden liquid insect killer, one that specifies termites as well on the list of insects it kills. Away from kids and animals and garden plants, soak that sucker down, paying more attention to the areas that's infested. Do this in the direct sun on a very hot day (which will be tomarrow here in Ohio, Monday) You may have to do this twice. let the chemical and the sun fry them, spray all the ones that come out of it too, to make sure they're all dead as well. Once this process is done after a few days, wash the table down with the hose and a good amount of Dawn dishwashing detergent, 2-3 times, and allow it to air completely dry. I did this one time to a wooden pice of outside furniture. Once all done and dry, put some clear varnish on the wooden piece of furniture and seal it well. You can also fix holes with wood putty and stain that matches, then clear coat. This will solve the whole problem and save this piece for you.

I'd get rid of the table! You might also want to get your house tented. Maybe the termites got in your house if they're in you backyard. Maybe you should look at a extermination company website or go to home depot to find products that rid termites. Good luck!
Let it go, you've already let it go so long that it would take an antique expert to repair the damage and then it still wouldn't be worth squat. Take the cast iron off and get you a new table they look good on.
eat them
Just buy some refill bug spray for crawling insects, the refill for the spray bottle's and a paint brush and paint the table with this allowing it to absorb into the holes and wood and set back and watch they come out in no time, I did this to a bamboo chair and within seconds they where crawling out and dropping dead. Hope this helps
buy an over the counter termite spary at home depot...kill them, then fill the holes and refinish
