our shop does clean and checks on air conditioners and we charge 59.00 and hour. Most often it takes 1 to 2 hrs. Are they replacing something??

Someone is trying to rip you off; Get 3 estimates before doing anything else. Tell the ripoff artist you are going to get other estimates, he will probably change his tune. But if it were me , I still wouldn*t use him.
