I have a cpe30-1ab air conditioner and it needs freon?

Question:I was wondering if anybody knew how to fill it.
its an outside unit and i believe its a heat/ac combo.

Answers:
This is not a do it yourself job. If your system needs refrigerant there is a reason and that reason needs to be repaired. If you over or undercharge your system it will not work properly. Refrigerant systems need to be charged by LICENSED, PROPERLY TRAINED technicians only.

If your air conditioner uses R-22 refrigerant, you won't be able to buy it without a license. You'd be better off to hire an HVAC technician, who will have the tools and the training. Besides, how do you know it needs freon? This type of air conditioner doesn't usually leak, but when it does, you've got to fix the leak before charging.
if its a heat and cool combo than it could be a heat pump or hot air and electric heat,if you are not trained and have the proper tools don"t mess with it,you just don't assume that it needs freon, there are a lot of components in an ac system, call in different professional and get different quotes.
