How do I adjust the carb on my lawnmower?
Question:Its a walmart brand and it sounds like a dirtbike when its running.

get the shop manuel, at wallmart or on line.it also could be a 2 cycle and they all sound like a dirt bike
Briggs and Stratton's are no longer adjustable on most lawnmowers.
However, if you are sure that is the problem, it's super easy and cheap to rebuild them.
Less than 10 bucks and about 1 hr of time. And most of that was taking it off and putting it back. Very little time to clean it up with Berryman's and installing the new parts.
