How many watts (or amps) does a drip coffee maker use?

Question:I am interested in the electric load required to run a small Mr. Coffee type drip coffee maker - either in watts or amps. The one I uses is a very small one - 4 cup capacity, but I expect the heating element is the same as the larger (8, 12 cup) models.

Answers:
yep look on the bottom name plat it ill say voltage watts example 1,500 watts at 120 volts is = to 12.5 amps

On the back or bottom will be the pwr. requirements in watts. Divide by 120 to get the amps.
It'd take the same amount of AMPS to make the 4 cups as the other amounts BUT won't take as long to make . Thus , saving you $$$$$ (brewing it and keeping it hot enough to drink). The electricity to operate is only 110 watts (normal household 2 pronged wall plug-in with a ground hole above or below them). The amperage will be listed on the plate along with the other info ( wattage , serial number, model number ,etc.)
