How do fix the retractable cord mechanism on a cylinder hoover?

Question:It was pulled out a little too far and now wont retract. It's a morphy richards pets.

Answers:
I just loosened the screws on mine and wiggled it a TINY bit and everything retracted. Of corse the ideal thing for a Dalek to do would be go back in time and not pull it out too far to begin with. *grin*
