Salt type marks on new block paving driveway - how do I get rid of them and why are they there?

Question:

Answers:
It is called efflorescence, it is common to all new cement products. If you can wait a month or 2 it will stop as the the blocks age. It doesnt hurt anything and will wash off in time. If you pressure wash it now, it will come back. It is a natural process and will cease soon. It will not effect the color of the blocks.

Brick acid . get it from builders merchants
It's called efflorescence and is minerals coming out of the blocks from moisture. This often happens in basement walls. It can be brushed off with a wire brush when dry.
