Can I level a concrete pad myself?

Question:I have a patio in two sections each one is 10' X13' one section has settled due to poor drainage. My question is, can I relevel the pad myself by undermining the low side and lifting it with car jacks and then pouring a concrete footer for extra support.the shift is approx. 1 to 1.5" at the seam. I have fixed the drainage problem already.

Answers:
always right may be wrong on this one ,
if you don't get a broad enough support area under slab all you will succeed in doing is breaking off the corner where the jack is placed ,especially if there is no reinforcement in the concrete. If you attempt this, make sure you place jack well underneath as far as you can then use a large area of blocking on the top of the jack to increase the lift area

yes
if you lift and support the edges you run the risk of it cracking in the middle unless you get an even base all the way under it...
What you are attempting will probably work "SHORT TERM" You will cause voids throughout the under slab. Temporarily you will fix it but long term end up with a much worse situation. It is expensive to hire pro's but it would be done right. So the real question is.. Do you want a temporary fix or Do you want a permanent repair?
