Why is my decking turning black?

Have you pressure washed it at all? Ours gets ver mouldy due to water from the trees falling on it and dead leaves.
Needs a clean
fungal infection, get a treatment from B&Q etc
you have mold growing on it. You should get a bucket of diluted bleach and mope the whole surface. If it is really bad you'll need ot scrub hard too.
once it has all gone I recommend that you give it a varnish or some other wood protective coating
If it's not pressure treated wood,it's probably mold from rain and leaves,etc.Go and buy a product called " Krud Kutter " and spray it on and scrub it.After get a stain and put it on the wood,to keep it clean.Good luck.
Has it been varnished? If not, then the decking may be rotten.

its probably due to a fungal attack.treat a small area with a proprietary fungicide from eg. b&q leave for 2 days if it clears the black then treat all the decking.note please wear goggles & gloves when using fungicide
