Im trying to get to my defrost part in my schreiber fridge it has a hole in the bottom?
Question:of the fridge, it now is starting to smell of sour milk, and i dont know how to get in to it to clean, please help.it is also built in to the worktops arrrgggg

the hole is a outlet if you look in the front of fridge there should be a similar hole might have a cover on this is tha outlet you put a bowl or similar under it and it catches the water
Direct a fan into it after putting some towels down A sure quick way to defrost fridges and freezers very quickly. A solution of bleach will kill the smell it is lactic acid that is the cause. Then fill the hole when the smell has gone.
There is generally a drain hole in a fridge, seems yours has become blocked. Try a piece of springy curtain wire to unblock it. This drains to a small tray on top of the compresser, where 'cos of the heat of the compresser, it evaporates & dries.
