No heat in my Oven?

Question:All parts of my oven work but just doesnt heat up, no heat at all? Any ideas what problem is and how to fix?

Answers:
If it is electric, then the odds are that the element is out. Turn the power off at the breaker, and remove screws holding the element. Pull the element & remove the wires(should be 2) but don't let them get away (they have a tendancy to pull back inside). Now test the element for continuity. If you don't know how, find someone with an ohm meter that knows how. If it has continuity, then it is good, and thermostat is bad. If no continuity, replace it!!

If it's a gas oven, is the pilot lit?? If not, will it stay lit when you relight it? If not, then the thermocouple or flame switch is bad (both do the same job, and you only have one or the other...) Replace it and re-light again.. Should work!

Hope this helps.

no sorry mate
it would help if we knew what type of oven and what it runs on

EDIT: its probably your thermostat but i would get a professional to have a look at it its too dangerous to do it yourself

looks like your having take-away for tea
warranty if its new. if its old, bring it to a repair shop or a service center. :)
thermocouple needs replacing,by law you need a qualified corgi fitter to work with gas or same equivalent for electric
Your heating element is most likely blown. The cost of a new one is in the region of £30
Depends on the type of oven, if it's electric then maybe the element has gone and will need replacing.
You've got to turn it on first.
