What's wrong if the top of your stove works but the oven doesn't?
Question:i can cook on top of my stove but when i want to bake the oven doesn't heat up it just has a gas smell what's up with that?

Thermostat, pilot or regulator. Call the gas company; they may send someone out to check for free. (Had it done in OHIO)
there's a coil that runs inside the bottom of your oven. i forget what it's called, but you need to replace that..there's one on the top too (that usually does the broiling). get them checked..quick fix
