Help.WALLPAPER?


Question:I moved into this house with wallpaper and the bedrooms are so tight that the ends of the beds scraped the walls. Yes wallpaper ripped. I dont really do wallpaper and dont want to. Can i cover the wall behind with a wight paint or something. I have atleast 3 small areas about 1-2inches and 1 big one about 4 inch please helpme im so frustraited an i refuse to strip all the wallpaper down. will NOT do!

Well this will work and look good-Go to Lowe's or wherever and buy a wide wall paper border and install it so it covers the tears-just make sure its wide enough to cover all the rips and be uniform in height from the floor and of course compliments the wallpaper.

They are easy to install-wont take you but an hour,come in 5 yard bolts and are not going to break the bank,cost wise.

If you want to go all out-paste the back with ready mixed vinyl adhesive to assure adhesion-or just run it through warm water as it will most likely be pre pasted---You can do this in your bath tub


they make wallpaper markers that can cover up blemishes..
I have scuffed wallpaper before and tried them.
they are not perfect but they definitely help hide the scuffs....
