Pool cleaning help?

Question:I took a sample of my pool water to a local pool company because it was looking alittle cloudy (I just installed it friday and I haven't added any pool chemicals yet). They tested the water, printed some sort of report of things I needed to add.

Total akalinity increaser
ph decreaser
Chlorine stabilizer
Calcium hardness increaser
Breakout 60

So i followed the instructions, added the suggested amounts, and now 5 hours later my pool water is very cloudy (can't see the bottom). Is this normal??

26 years ago, I owned a pool business and I can tell you that
just like many other businesses, it is full of nonsense tricks.
Go to http://appliancequickfix.com/ and see how simple it is
to take care of your pool water. Yes, I know its not an appliance, but they have one good page on pool water.
Good luck.

If you put the chemicals in in the right order and waited the time betwwen each as specified, all you should have to do is leave your pump running all night and it will be fine in the morning. whenever you put that many chemicals in it is going to need the pump to run a full 24 hrs. The cloudiness will be gone by that time. I have a pool and have experienced the same thing.
