I have a LS522 Heating Timer for my Hot Water and Central Heating.?

Question:I Switched the CH off and now the hot water won't heat up. Do the Two work together or seperate. If they work together. How do I avoid having the Central heating on, but still able to get hot water when I need it? Please help

Answers:
Could be a number of things. Make sure that 'Gravity' or 'fully pumped' is selected on the rear of the programmer, depeneding on what type of system you have.

It sounds as if it might be incorrectly wired up. The idea of such times is that you can time both and they work independently though often the HW cannot be switched of when CH is on. What you describe would not make sense!

You would always want HW but not always CH!
could be your motorised valve is not working,if in any doubt call any good electrician, one who is registered
On some of these timers the only way to turn the central heating off independantly is by the room stat (turning it right down)
call water company
