Attic heat? Help please?
Question:I have a bedroom and a den in the attic of my house, during the summer the part of the house is very hot, what can i do to reduce the heat in the attic, i have two windows in either side and even when they are both open its still hot, even when the fun is running its still too hot.

install an attic fan(whole house fan ) have one in my attic and it turns on when it gets hot up there and gets the heat out
try having an exhaust fan installed in the roof this usually lowers the temp by about 20 deg. or so
Have you considered a skylight that opens for ventilation so that the hot air could rise?

Have a Ridge vent installed by a professional roofer
Buy a small air conditioner !! They make portables just plug it in and feel the cooling air !!
Get Window's tinted to reflect the sun and instal roof insulation and insulate under the flooring. If you have cavity walls, you could also have them filled with foam insulation.
