How do I stop my Grohe cistern constantly dribbling into the wc pan?

Sounds as if your washer in the float valve needs replacing as it is not sealing properly and allowing extra water through.
Simple DIY job. Get a pack of washers from B&Q, Homebase, Wickes etc which include all the different sizes.
Turn your mains water off, unscrew the big end cap and it will all fall to pieces. You will see the washer which needs getting out (can be a pig sometimes!). Put a little bit of grease/oil on the new one to help squeeze back in.
Tighten up the screw on your ballcock , Drain offf all the water by raising the ballcock and refill ajusting till theres no flow
I had a dripping shower head from Grohe. Their warranty is quite long (at least 3 years I think) and they came out and fixed mine without any fuss (didn't need proof of purchase or anything). Worth a try?
Iam assuming this is an internal overflow SO CHECK
water level
ballvalve shuts supply off,
reqiures either adjusting or replacing washer.
