I have a motion sensor light I don't know how to turn on the sensor any suggestions, I lost the directions

Question:I don't know the name brand of it, but its a wall mount, we bought it at Wal-mart. We unfortunately lost the directions, and have been unable to turn on the sensor.

Turn off the switch in the house, go outside and there should be a switch on the light (Test , 1 minute, 5 minutes, or similar). Put it to how many minutes you want then turn the house switch on. It will work once it gets dark. To over ride the motion detector, turn off the house switch for 2 or 3 seconds then back on. To set it back to motion, turn it off for at least 10 seconds then back on.
