Why does my dishwasher make a grinding noise. What do i do to fix it?

Some dishwashers come with a grinding component that grinds leftover food debris. You should see if your model has this also if you have a warranty have it serviced a lot of stuff gets stuck in the bottom drain part. I know it happened to me.
