Double sink clogged - have no drano, when I plunge one sink water coming up the other sink?? Help?
Question:
Answers:
Both sinks are connected to the same drain, you will have to have someone hold a stopper down on one side while you plung the other
I've had this problem before. I used a shop vac and sucked up whatever was stuck in there, usually hair. I also poured vinegar and baking soda down the drain and it becomes like a volcano and helps loosen what was stuck.
Have someone hold the drain plug in the other part of your sink. It works.
Pour alot of hot hot boiling water down your sinks..you could also use baking soda and vinegar too! Watch it when you mix the baking soda and vinegar it may start a small bubbling volcano! but it will not hurt you!
need to take apart the trap , I think your clog is further down past the trap need to run a snake through
a electrical fish tape works very good instead of a plumbing snake
Listen it will be better to boil some water and pour it thru the drain with the straight pipe.If it goes down slowly, repeat it.the hot water will cause the pipe to swell and may dislodge the clog..Try the plunger again if water drains out..
