How do I fix/replace my MDF water soaked kitchen?

Question:I had a leak in my flat, and the white MDF cabinets by my sink have now expanded, and don't look very good. The cabinets are old, but I don't own the house, so need to make good - by either fixing them or replacing them. Any ideas?

Answers:
Look in the yellow pages under the heading "cabinet makers".Find a custom cabinet maker and have him cut out the damaged sections and replace it.

Also you might call the pro desk at a Lowes, Home Depot, 84 Lumber or other lumber yard and ask for the name of a good cabinet craftsman.

Depending on where you live - you can post Wanted ad in your local Freeshare website. If someone is renovating their kitchen - they would be glad to give you old one for free. In US it's Craigs list, in UK it's freecycle.org and free2collect.co.uk - the other sites like that you can find on http://freesharing.org/sites_like_us.php...
You can also try to put an ad to your local newspaper, but they may charge for it.
If there is any renovation projects happening in the area - ask them if they will be changing the kitchen.
