no, and yes
I do not have one...but I do know how to use one!
Yeah, it's in our kitchen. i know how to use it too. You pull the pin out and then you can push the lever down to spray it!
No i don't have a fire extinguisher in my house, but i know how to use it. I think there should be a fire extinguisher in every house as though it is the law.
Yes and Yes. pull the pin aim and squirt
Most people do, if they have half a brain. There are also usually instructions on how to use them on the extinguisher.

I have a couple. A regular one in the kitchen for normal fires and a haylon one by my computer server.
Yes one on each floor and one in the garage. Yes I do know how and hope I never have to use it.
Yes to both questions ... but another important note to add to that is do you know that extinguishers do expire ... so
you need to replace/recharge them.
I keep one in my car for car fires.
yes we do. and yes we know how to use it
Yes 3. One in the garage actually there are 2 types in there. One in the kitchen and one in my sons room right at the hall way. I know how to use them. Have had several fire saftey courses courtesy of work. Never had to use one in the house.
Yes
Yes! Proper use. PASS P- Pull pin
A- Aim
S- Squeeze
S- Sweep slowly at base of fire
In veiwng many practice drills the biggest mistake is people get nervous and want to hurry and go from side to side quickly. Sweeply slowly across the fire aiming at the base of it. If in any doubt exit the house and call 911.
yes and yes and to the people who think this is a laughing matter. fire safety is no joke...many people lose their families everyday because of stupidity
We have four 20 pound ABC fire extinguishers, and everyone in the house knows how to use them (in theory). We also have fiberglass fire blankets and flashlights in all the bedrooms and the laundry room, which is near the kitchen. If you think that's paranoid, we also have fire sprinklers installed in our home as well.
We live in a remote area, and over the past couple years, we have seen several houses out here burn down to the ground in the time that it takes the fire department to get out here. A couple months ago, my friend's house burned down in the middle of the night, and they lost everything. Fortunately, he and his three kids made it out of the house safely.
As they say, you can never be too prepared.
Yep, under my sink (opposite the stove). It's a "C" so can be used on all fires. Just pull the pin, aim at the base of the fire, squeeze, and be ready for a huge mess to clean up!
I used to, but I need a new one, thanks for the reminder. :)
Yes I do,and I indeed know how to use it.I have to say I am not Martha Stewart,so my kitchen has seen a few grease fires in it's day.
keep one on every floor of the house. Also one under the kitchen sink. Replace after 3-4 years. Just pull the pin and squeeze the handle.
