My hair dye has left a stain in my apartment's bathroom sink. Can i paint sink & counter to hide the stain?

Question:It looks like it has been painted before. Its maybe laminate or normal counter stuff I dont know. I'm moving and don't want to be charged for something the company is just painting over anyway.

Answers:
Like the Lady before me...Soft Scrub. It will take it out.

There is stuff at beauty supply shops or try a magic eraser to get it off. Do you have to get permission to paint this might lead to suspicion.
How old is the stain? You should be able to get it out. Try oxyclean or clorox clean-up.
You can get some clorox 2 with bleach and it will come out ...let it stand for about 5 minutes and rinse...no need to paint the sink.
Try using soft scrub and leave it on about 10 minutes or so it should take hair dye out of the sink...
Just please be honest with the manager of the apt. Ask if you can go ahead and paint the sink, etc. My new apt., the bathtub had to be refinished. Either for the same reason, or auto parts were washed in the tub. Probably hair dye. That was before I moved in.
You really do need to let the mgr. know, so that you will get the correct products for the surfaces currently in your apt.
Take care.
