Is it good to add insulation to the garage attic to keep the summer heat out?

Question:When the heat finnally sets in by 3 p.m. won't this insulation also keep the heat in the garage for a longer time causing for a slower cool down?

Answers:
Depends on whether you leave the garage open to the internal home. It isn't necessary to insulate the garage, only make sure the walls between the living space and the garage are insulated.
(I am assuming that the living areas have ceiling insulation)
Secondly you could improve the situation be installing some ventilation in the garage to release the trapped heat.
I believe you will find this all you need to do.
Hope this helps.

its gonna be this that or the other the best way to keep the heat out and to keep the garage cool is probably to add a exhaust fan or 2 its cheap and fairly easy to do and it helps the heat escape rather than just stay there
