How much will this carpet replacement cost?
Question:I'm in an apartment.
I measured the carpet in my living room and its
19 ft x 19ft
BUT right off the living room is a little hallway and it looks like the carpets all one .. heres a picture of it (looking towards the living room)

I'm assuming by the way it looks it's all one piece, unless they are really good at hiding it.
If it is one piece it would 24 feet x 19 feet.. not 19x19 .. the small hallways width is 4 feet
Heres a few pictures of the carpet. It's just cheap tan carpet they put in all apartments.

its not one piece. the carpet people are really good at getting it to look as it is one. as fare as cost it would depend on the style and grade of the carpet you wont to get. Measure your room and hallway separately, draw a picture of the room and where the hall comes in. then go to your local carpet supply store and tell them what your looking for and they will be able to price it out for you.
A per foot price can be obtained from "The guide" an industry standard of cost. It is just a rule of thumb and you can do better by getting three bids and do this from companies that do not charge for an estimate. Get the estimates and decide and use the "Guide" numbers for reference.
