Is this a reasonable Cost for running a wire from Air Conditioner to Electric Panel?

Question:Need to run a wire from Air Conditioner (one side of basement) to Electric Panel (opposite side of the basement). Basement is finished so drywall ceiling/wall likely needs holes drilled and patched.

What is reasonable for a certified electrician to complete?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Answers:
TC is in the ballpark, but left out the parts. wire size and length of the run will make a difference. Probably 10 gauge, I'll assume 20 foot across the basement, so you will use approx 35 total feet of wire plus a breaker for the panel and a disconnect or plug assy. for the other side. So add about another $75-$95 for parts, so roughly between $550-$650 for a job like this. This may change depending on the area you are in and the contractor you choose.Hope this helps.

Eight hours pay, $40 to $60 per hour. And they don't repair holes.
$75 hr. plus parts.

$300 or so.
